Beauty Battle, Family Edition: Mamie and Grace Gummer
This talented sister duo (whose mom is none other than legendary actress Meryl Streep) showed up to the premiere of NBC’s new show Smash this past weekend, and they clearly proved that they each have a mind of their own when it comes to beauty and style. In this week’s edition of Beauty Battle, let’s take a closer look at these famous daughters’ creative and fun looks!
Mamie (on the left) struck a pose in an adorable printed yellow skirt that she paired with gray tights and a cropped olive jacket. She accessorized the look with a small patterned clutch and a sparkling necklace. Her makeup was kept neutral, with warm contouring on the cheeks, a dash of mascara, and a bit of mauve color on her lips. She let her blonde waves flow loose and free.
In comparison, Grace knocked us out in a black, lacy look that was complemented with sheer tights and black pumps. She also went bold with her makeup by sporting a fuchsia lip. However, like her sister, she kept the rest of the face neutral: light blush on the cheeks and defined, black lashes. She also left her hair down but added texture and definition.
It’s funny that while these gorgeous girls physically look very similar to one another (and to their mom!), their beauty and style choices are so different. One sister looks cute and casual, while the other one looks like she’s ready to take the Broadway stage!
