Letter: Regarding 'Re-introduction of corporal punishment in schools'
I hope that Minister Baksh’s idea of bringing back flogging to the schools is blocked by legislative action or outrage from the public and the media. Such action is in direct conflict with the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of the Child. 109 countries in the world successfully educate children without hitting them.

Young Western Saharan refugees build for the future in Cuba

Teacher caught with fake degree in Antigua

Improved performance in January 2008 CSEC examinations
