Finnish PM: Gun laws to be tougher after massacre
The Finnish prime minister says he will push for stricter gun laws following a school massacre in western Finland which killed 11 people.
Matti Vanhanen says the Tuesday shootings that followed a similar rampage last year would lead to a reevaluation of Finland's gun laws that allow 15-year-olds to acquire guns for target or hunting purposes.
Vanhanen told reporters Wednesday that the government will consider if 'people should get access to hand guns so freely.'
Vanhanen said he was 'very critical about the guns, and during next few months we (the government) will make a decision about it.'
